hecticium: Autumn crocus in Highbury park

Every year I potter down to Highbury to gaze at the beautiful autumn crocus (crocuses/ croci!) and they didn't disappoint this year either!

laughing magpie said...: Apparently the scientists at Bradford Uni have discovered that an extract from these bulbs is an amazing drug in the fight against cancer. It is called colchicine and can wipe out tumors with just one injection. Clever little croci (uses)!; 4:43 pm
